I spotted these great pics on Taryn T.’s blog today and thought they ought to be shared.
Her boys Jimmy and Wilson clearly enjoyed the sand and surf!
These photos of Wilson (red and white) and Jimmy (black) capture that brief window of time at the end of the “beach day”, when full-on sunlight above has retreated and there’s a burnished glow reflected on the water.
It’s also a time when the dogs’ bodies cast leaping shadows on the glassy surface of wet sand.
Beautiful! The dogs, the light, the photography … Summer is a special time of year, isn’t it?
The dogs seem to know it too, and they don’t waste a single minute anywhere but right in the present moment, basking in all the sensations.
Sigh.
I love dogs!
