The calendar will be available for purchase starting October 31st on The Daily Corgi’s cafepress shop.
Hey, everybody …
Did you know that there will be an official Daily Corgi Calendar for 2011? (Yup, first one ever).
Better yet — your Corgi can be in it!
mock-up: this is what the calendar will look like!
The first “casting call” for calendar Corgis (back in April) brought in a lot of responses, and entry fees ($5 minimum per household) have already raised several hundred dollars for CorgiAid. However, there is still room for more of your barOoOoOoOo-tiful Pems, Cardis and Corgi mixes!

Go HERE to read the official rules and rundown on on how to submit your Corgi pics for the calendar.
Although the 2011 calendar is a fundraiser and NOT a contest, there are guidelines you need to follow to ensure your Corgi’s photo is usable. Go to the original post, review those guidelines and e-mail me if you have any questions: thedailycorgi@gmail.com.
Please do NOT remit the entry fee until I have acknowledged receipt of your photo and confirmed that it’s acceptable.

The not so fine print: If you have already submitted your Corgi, please do NOT re-submit. Each Corgi can appear only once in The Daily Corgi 2011 Calendar, for purposes of fairness.
If you have previously submitted your Corgi but have not heard back from me or are unsure of whether s/he will appear in the calendar, please drop me an email. NO ENTRY is OFFICIAL UNTIL YOU HAVE HAD e-MAIL CONFIRMATION DIRECTLY FROM ME.
(Sorry, don’t mean to yell. The caps are for emphasis only :o-).
One final and very important woof here: holiday-themed photos are not just welcome but highly desirable! Particularly Christmas and Halloween, but also Flag Day, Groundhog Day and — of course — barkdays …
Corgis still with us and those up at the Bridge are all welcome on the calendar.
Corgi ON!

p.s. the finer fine print: This is NOT an official CorgiAid calendar, and CorgiAid is in no way involved in the creation of this calendar.
I just love CorgiAid and want to help them help Corgis!
