WEDNESDAY 10/20: Penni’s Family has reached their fundraising goal for her vet bill!

The Daily Corgi has been following Penni’s progress, and generous readers have now helped the Fleming family reach 97% of their fundraising goal for her large vet bill.
This energetic Pemmie is home and improving a little bit at a time. Her next vet visit is this Thursday, and her Mom and Dad believe she will walk again.

I'm not sure if Penni is still on wheels or not since the most recent post I ran across was October and this is February. However, I just wanted to share that I work for a hospice and we have a therapy dog (dachsund) that lost the use of her back legs and is in a wheelchair. She is really inspiring to our patients as they struggle with their declining physical abilities. She brings lots of hope and joy to people who are struggling with the loss of the use of their legs. If Penni doesn't regain all the use of her legs, I bet her smile and her energy could bring hope to many.
