Meet Toby.
In this photo he’s all of seven pounds and sleeping in the back seat of his family’s car as they drove from his Missouri breeder to their home in Chicago.
Pooped out. Such a big day for a little pup!
“We always knew that with a cute little puppy comes a big responsibility” writes Andreea B. “But once my mind was set on getting a puppy, after seeing Toby’s baby pictures from the breeder there was no turning back.”

Today Andreea and Horia have a “healthy, handsome, stubborn, thirty-pound, nearly two year-old Corgi who teaches us every day that we have to find happiness in the little things …
… like his little legs and wiggling nub.”
“Toby’s favorite activities are playing fetch with his dozens of tennis balls laying around the house, swimming, playing catch or hide-and-seek with Mommy and Daddy, and last — but definitely not least — he loves playing in the snow.”
And boy, we do get a lot of snow in Chicago!
“When it comes to food, his preferences are truly diverse. Toby has to taste almost every single food we eat. He favors watermelon, bananas, carrots, apples, bread crust … the list goes on and on.”
Toby was photoshopped into a funny photo that became something of an internet sensation:
“Time has passed so quickly since we got Toby. We can hardly believe that in March our boy will be two years old.”
“We’re looking forward to spending many, many wonderful years with our Corgi-with-a-big-personality. We love him to pieces and are very proud of him!”
