It’s not often the Daily Corgi gets a bone-a-fido celebrity on the blog. Ernie is quite famous in Corgi Nation, and today’s his BIG day here!

G’day! My name is Ernie (Ernie Corgi to those of you in the know). I’m seven years old and live at Umina Beach in Sydney, Australia.
I love my tail. I think it makes me look like Basil Brush. It’s illegal to dock tails here, which is just as well. My tail tells people so much about me … and of course they ALL want to know about me.
My Mum’s family has always had Corgis as pets, but never a Pembroke with a tail. Until I came along.
I love sticks and balls, but I’m not good at bringing ’em back …
… I just show ’em where they threw the thing.
Mum says I sometimes deliberately pose for photos and won’t move ’til she takes the pic. Not sure how many photos you might like, so I’ve sent heaps. She just got a new camera and has taken lots of photos of you-know-who.

I was the only boy in a litter of five.
Can you imagine that — four sisters to put up with?!
Girls aren’t so bad, really …
… my sweetie pie Chloe Anne Johnson is proof of that. Now she’s wag-worthy!
All in all it’s a pretty heavenly life here by the beach.
