they got Kerby, Laura F.’s hubby was not a dog person in the
slightest. One day they spotted a couple of Corgi puppies, however, and out of nowhere he exclaimed ‘Now there’s a dog!’ “The comment was duly noted” says Laura, “especially since I was already smitten with Corgis!”

he asked if I wanted to adopt a Corgi puppy for my birthday a year
later, I was ecstatic! We drove four hours to the family farm where he
lived with his working mom and puppy siblings, and after an arduous (and
puke-filled!) car ride we welcomed him home. It truly was unconditional love at first sight.” 😉
