In the Summer of 2010, Pie joined Gretchen and Greg’s home by way of Corgi Connection of Kansas. Faced with a hapless pack of humans and dogs in obvious need of her natural supervisory skills, Pie chose to stay on.
Three years later, thanks to a series of ongoing compromises, the assurance of a reserved spot on the sofa and a snack-based “pet insurance” system, Pie has risen to the top of the pack — where she intends to remain.
In addition, Pie acts as resident General Contractor for home renovations. Every Corgi has a job. Pie has assigned herself this one.
Pie is satisfied with her placement and would recommend the services of CCK services to her friends. Her 4.5 rating on a scale of 5 (yes, Corgis do rate us) reflects the fact (yes, Corgis deal in facts) that she had to train her foster family quite extensively to train them to respond to even the most basic commands.
Perhaps it’s true that a Corgi’s work is never really done?

Pie seems to be a very nice girl who takes her role in life seriously and lovingly. So glad you all found each other.
