Sam came to grace Sara O.’s life by way of Sunshine Corgi Rescue. He just turned one a week ago, and gets even cuter than THIS every single day. (I know, huh? Impossible but true).
Sam was a foster. When Sara got him, he was nine months old. She didn’t think her home was ready for such a young dog, but Sam had other ideas (as Corgis often do).
And so he stayed.
Uncle Cooper, a sweeter n’ sweet Pit/Visla mix, is more than happy to have a new bestie.
Sam’s learning from him how to be calm and gentle.
Well, as calm and gentle as a Corgi puppy can be.
Sam digs the dog park, licking, chasing and being chased, licking everyone and everything in sight, scoring belly rubs, and licking. He’s currently learning new skills at obedience class and one day hopes to be a part-time therapy dog.
When not in motion, this little Corgi makes an excellent book rest.
He’s got champion chair warming skills too.
Corgi On, Sam!
Corgi On, Sam!

What a good boy you are, Sam. Keep putting out that love and fun in the Sunshine State.
