Good morning Corgi Nation, and welcome to my weekly guest spot on The Daily Corgi! I am your host Paige K. Davis, founder of CorgiPals. As you know, every week I do a guest post to keep you up to snuff with the goings-on in the CorgiPals world.
Next, I’d like to give you an update on our Food Bag Awareness Fundraiser. The post I made on our Facebook page to announce the fundraiser had nearly 41,000 views and shares! So far we have raised $1,405 in memory of Pi and Chibi, and everyone is encouraged to share this fundraiser with friends and family to raise awareness. RIP sweet Pi and Chibi. Your deaths will not be in vain. THANK YOU to all the folks who have shared and donated. I’ve gotten several emails from folks who had no idea that bags were a danger to their pets. That’s the name of the game, you guys! Now they know. Think of the lives you could be saving just by educating people and making them aware. It’s a pretty astounding statistic and I’m proud to be a part of this movement. You all should be proud, too! You’re making a difference!
And now an announcement for my fellow fans of Jasper Islington. Jasper and his Mum and Da have designed an all-Jasper all-the-time calendar featuring some of his best photos and, of course, haikus. I’m very proud to say that Jasper and his family have decided to donate 100% of the proceeds from the calendars to CorgiPals!! Ain’t he cute?
That about wraps it up for this week! Oh, and don’t forget … CorgiPals has a new company goal that we are trying to reach. We are trying to get our Facebook page to 10,000 “likes” by the end of 2013. We are currently at 6,709 fans! Please spread the word to help us reach our goal! Remember, every person who knows about CorgiPals is one more soldier in our army fighting for Corgis in need all over the globe! Keep on Corgi’n on!
