Corgi Connection of Kansas Rescue held their second annual Kansas Corgi Gathering on October 19th, 2013. It was all that and a bag of biscuits. Here’s how!

The event raised about $4,000 for Corgi Connection of Kansas, between the silent auction (80 items), sales of more than 100 Corgi Celebration t-shirts, and raffle tickets for a gorgeous handmade Corgi quilt. The winner of the quilt donated it to Benny Corgipants‘s family, to keep him wrapped in Corgi Nation warmth and love.
With these proceeds, Corgi Connection of Kansas has been able to pay some outstanding vet bills for recent rescues and set some aside for future needs. Way to GO Corgi people! Rock on!
The Corgi gathering was a blast I have to say. My daughter and I were beside ourselves with so many corgi's to pet and play with. We brought two of our own along, one of which was obtained with a lot of help from the Corgi Connection just a few weeks ago. It was also great to meet Jeanette from the Corgi Connection of Kansas, who was so helpful with getting our new family member Sammie. You can be sure when they do this again next year we'll be there. ~Peaty
That great video made me realize how much I miss Taffy, Chip, and Penny! Corgis have such a zest for life and frapping Corgis are the cutest and funniest to watch. Corgi on lovelies!
