Friends, thank you for coming back here day after day, not just at Christmas but all year long! Thank you for your support of fellow readers, Corgi lovers and the Corgis themselves, here and on the Daily Corgi facebook page.
More than anything else, with my Daily Corgi work I hope to spread the joy of giving and receiving the kind of happiness, good humor and plain old perseverance that Corgis bring to our lives. They are wonders! (All dogs, but Corgis are my heart dogs).
By now you know I often go to bat for Corgis and the people who love them. I pitch for the ones hankering after a second (or third or fourth) chance at the happy-ever-after they deserve. And every now and then I must ask a bit for myself, as I do all the work — every bit of it — and draw no regular salary. There are expenses to run the blog, and revenue from sales of ads and occasional Daily Corgi merchandise, but most of whatever comes in generally goes to Kitten Girl’s medical expenses. She’s an 18 year-old bossy cat, been mine since she was mostly whiskers, big eyes and LOUD meows. (Some things never change).
Meet my favorite feline HERE.
Rather than set up a ChipIn fund or a formal on-line fundraiser, I’d ask that you send your contributions for The Daily Corgi via PayPal to thedailycorgi@gmail.com. If you don’t use PayPal or are uncomfortable sending money on-line, e-mail me and ask for my mailing address. (Be sure to put “Christmas Fund” in the subject line). Anything you care to contribute to defray the expenses (or express your appreciation) of what I do with The Daily Corgi will be greatly appreciated!
By the way, if you haven’t yet heard my iTunes interview with Paws To Talk’s Margot Ahlquist — life coach for dog lovers — about how I started The Daily Corgi and what keeps it going, check it out now:
Let’s continue to Corgi On, Corgi Strong into 2014. I’ll be right there with you.

Your interview was wonderful, right up to the standard of everything that you do on behalf and Corgis and Kitten Girl.

Thank you Susan! I appreciate your compliment and vote of confidence, as always.
And thank you 2corgis. Kitten Girl sends her special head butt of favor for the mention. She never turns down affection :).
