Thank you for all the support and interest you have given us both, since I began The Daily Corgi nearly five years ago. Her indomitable spirit is surely alive in the posts, though she was not a fan of dogs. Maybe that’s where the extra sass factor came from. More than a few entries were written with her squarely on my lap, soothing me with her snoozing and steady, rumbling purr as I wrote about dogs.

Beautifully written, and I am in tears. I just lost my beloved kitty (14 years) who hated dogs as well – but put up with my 'in your face corgi' (not really put up with, but she was the one who got to sit in my lap while I worked). Your sweet kitty was lucky to have you. Thank you for sharing your experience and your love.
