Krisia Velez is an active duty SGT in the U.S. Army. She named her four year-old Corgi Yoru, which means “night” in Japanese.
“I call him my Yoru bear” says Krisia. Easy to see why.
Like his Chieweenie sister, Yoru is a total ham.
He loves it when Mom comes home at lunch!
Not so happy when she leaves. He does this when Krisia puts her boots on. Subtle, eh?
Like many Corgis, Yoru loves to kayak!
Nothing like being on the open water to mellow a guy out.
Yep, mellow. Very mellow.
Seriously, you guys … this is MAJOR charm offensive, right here.
A Big Daily Corgi salute to these two for keeping our nation fortified and Corgi-fied! Thanks so much for your service.

Maybe if I snuggle her feet she won't put her shoes back on and leave…hmmmm…
