Meet Misty May. She’s a HOOT! Personality plus! Doesn’t know a stranger, never been anywhere she’s afraid of, and doesn’t have any problem telling you when she wants more of anything!

This vivacious lady is currently in the care of Corgi Connection of Kansas Rescue, where she’s on track to have surgery to remove a lipoma (fatty tumor), but not before she loses some weight, before facing the rigors of surgery. Misty May’s foster Mom has her on a strict diet and plenty of walks. Our girl is fine with the strolls, but the restricted food meets with less enthusiasm. Once she finishes her meal, Misty licks the bowl clean and then flips it over! She does get her fair share of veggies.
The goal is to get Misty down eight pounds by the end of November, then have the tumor removed. She has some hazing in her eyes, but they don’t appear to be cataracts and there is no apparent vision impairment.
Although she’s no longer a pup (her age is an estimated 6-8 years), Misty May she acts like a bright-eyed teenager! She was initially picked up as a stray and taken to a facility in Columbia, Missouri. Can you imagine no one claiming this one? Not me!
