The lovely Zoey made her Daily Corgi debut back in December, when she was ready to entertain offers from potential new families, after spending time as a rescued foster with Corgi Connection of Kansas.
The good news? Zoey’s got herself a happy ever after home!
She found her new roost in Nebraska, in a sixth floor apartment overlooking a lake. (Yep, there’s a Corgi-vator. Otherwise known as an elevator. Or a lift, to you Brits. A Corgi lift!)
CCK has been a fairy dogmother to Zoey for quite some time. They helped her when she was in distress having puppies, adopted out the puppies, and helped her get medical care she needed in her owner’s home. CCK was there again for her when the time came to re-home her.
Zoey’s forever mom sent a recent update:
Well, it has been a little over a week! We are still so happy to have this little one in our family and things are progressing every day. We did take a road trip on Friday to visit family and she did so well. We went to the dog park and played with new people. She is still a little shy with new humans, would rather stand behind our feet, but is slowly coming out of her shell. As I type this, she is curled up on the ottoman, snuggled up against my legs, sleeping. She is so sweet and loving. We couldn’t have asked for a better fit for our family!
