Just over a month ago, Joey and Kia made their Daily Corgi debut. They had been bought by Corgi Connection of Kansas Rescue in February at a breeder’s auction, and were in foster care, learning to live the lives of loved dogs with their own families.
From time to time, Corgi Connection (like some other groups) will put out a special request for donations to buy dogs at a breeder’s auction, in order to pull them out of the large scale breeding system and place them in good homes.
In fact, Corgi Connection of Kansas is in the final days of just such a fundraiser right now. There are eight Corgis they hope to buy at a Missouri auction this weekend. Eight Corgis whose future is about to change in ways they can’t even imagine. Hooray! To read about it and drop a dollar, click HERE.
OK, back to Joey and Kia’s happy ending in progress!
Here’s the toothsome twosome with new parents Larry and Gladys. Proud foster Mom Gisela looks on. Life in Rio Rancho, New Mexico is going to be good for these two. Their adoptive parents have previous Corgi experience and look pretty thrilled to get another infusion of Corgi Power.

I know Joey and Kia got the pick of the litter. Gladys and Larry love their Corgi's forever and ever. Lucky pups can't wait to meet them when we visit New Mexico.
