Doc is a sweet gentleman, of a certain age. However, don’t let that dissuade you from wooing him to your side. As Mark Twain once said, “age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter”.
An old dog is much like a fine, aged cheese … a little funky, a little fuzzy, but with a richness of character that leaves you lingering over the memory.
Doc is looking for a mature family. One that takes time to smell the fire hydrants and appreciates many of the other fine things in life.
Since we have not had an opportunity to let Doc speak for himself, we’ll let other distinguished men of culture speak for him.
If you wish to meet this fine fellow in person, first check out his Secondhand Hounds profile page HERE. (Note: Doc may be listed as a female there, but make no mistakes. He’s all man. So to speak).
Then, you’ll need to fill out the on-line application, available at the Secondhand Hounds site HERE.

If I didn't see it, I apologize.. .but where is he located? We have a 5 yr old male, very friendly …and 10 yr old female, also a bit slower but ooh so lovey and wonderful. both love other dogs.. and we'd consider adopting if we could.
