Roscoe is a one and a half year-old Pembroke from Santa Cruz who hates the ocean. (Here he demonstrates the classic “I’m a boulder and will not be moved” maneuver).
He may not be a coastal Corgi, but landlubber Roscoe makes the most of the dry and high life. And he’s almost excessively cute while doing it. That’s him at Tahoe among the Mule Ears, with his own big, wonderful ears!
Mom Vicky notes that Roscoe regularly demonstrates his herding skills on children and has gamely hiked in Yosemite. He’s a champion show-the-belly sleeper and fast as a rabbit on his four runner legs. Roscoe is a true bon vivant who loves everybody, including and especially the cat, whom he harasses and then happily licks half to death.
How could the cat possibly stay angry with this?
Impossible.

I didn't know all corgis used the "I'm a boulder" move. Only treats get them out of this position. Too cute.
Laurie Eno says
The reason I know what that move is is because my CAT pulled it on me years ago when I tried (foolishly) to harness and leash her for a walk. Ten pounds of cat was suddenly fifty pounds going in the opposite direction. Amazing.
