Emily Rose G. lives in Oregon with her big family, which includes two very special Cardigans named Galaxy and Traum.
At three year old, “spitfire, princess Diva bitch” Galaxy is the younger of the two.
“I love her face. Her head and expression is exactly the reason I fell for her in the first place. I’m glad that the disposition is just as wonderful as the face on my “mail order”puppy. I didn’t meet Galaxy ’til she was here in Oregon from Illinois. I went strictly by her breeder’s description and my gut instinct on her.”
“I’m so proud of how much she’s done this year, and how mature she’s gotten. It’s hard to imagine that last year I contemplated placing her, and now she’s my constant companion, and working partner.”
“Such a great girl, and a grand lesson in always believing in your dog, and trusting your gut.”
Galaxy is a terrific herder, and she’ll be back on the blog in The Daily Corgi’s “Herding Corgis” feature a little later in April.
Mom and Traum“Traumy means the world to me, and I can’t imagine life without this wonderful dog. My best friend, my soul-dog. I literally dreamed about him … and he matched it perfectly.”
The day Traum came home with Mom. A lot of ears, a little bit of dog.
Traum at his favorite, almost 24/7 pasttime — chewing/eating.
“His name means ‘Dream’, and he was named years before he was born. I got him at age 18, so he’s really grown up with me.” Traum is now seven years old.
“He was the ‘best man’ at our wedding, my daughter’s companion and guardian, my very best friend and deepest confidant. Traum was the best birthday present ever, and continues to be every year.”
All that and a fine flying squirrel form too!

Traum had his 8th birthday on the 20th of March. I can't believe how fast they grow up!
Thanks for featuring my stubby sidekicks. We're honored! Galaxy tells me I need to get pictures of her working cattle (Her favorite!) before the next time she's on here. She's a bit of a show-off 😉 heehee
Galaxy is concerned over why she's not 3 posts of her own, and has to share instead. Poor girl still doesn't know while her name is Galaxy, that doesn't mean that she *is* the galaxy 😉
