Cili

Six year-old Cili from Nashville is one funny, smarty-pants Pembroke boy.

I’m also a handsome little stinker!

“He makes up games and teaches them to us. Cili’s learned that if he barks at the window, we’ll stop and see who is there, often putting down what we are eating. If we’re not careful, it’s gone by the time we know there’s no intruder outside!”

“Our other dog Princess, a Chihuahua/terrier mix, is older than Cili. At first she had a hard time accepting Cili. Princess was the “big dog” when he came along, but she’s got him convinced that SHE is – even though she weighs 12 pounds and he weighs about 30.”

“Cili is so much fun. No doubt he considers us his ‘pet humans’. He’s always been a treat to us” writes Mom Judy L. “The only small complaint is that his bark is so loud that my hubby really thinks one of them is enough.”

“Cili tries to catch the water in the tub when you are taking a bath or a shower. He loves to play ball and to chase and bring back the stick we found while walking in the park. He put it in his teeth and carried it all the way back to the house. Now we throw the stick and Cili brings it back — over and over — until he decides he’s had enough.”

“The stick is magical! It will get his attention when nothing else will. It will pull him back from runners and kids playing in our street. It even will bring him back to the yard if another dog comes by that must be put in its place.”

“This picture of the door is actually a picture of Cili’s ear sticking under the door. One night I was on a conference call and closed my office door to keep the noise level down. After the call was done and I got ready to leave, I noticed the ear under the door where Cili had parked himself outside the door and stuck his ear in to keep tabs on me.”

A pooped out Poppa!

Cili has recently become a dad for the first time! His litter, born just before Mother’s Day, has five males two females. Five are Tri’s like him and two are red and white like their mom.
