A big how-di-do and barOoOoOoOoOo to Cletus, a two year-old Corgi/Cocker Spaniel mix out of Jefferson, Oregon!
Mom Coni says people always ask if he’s a miniature Border Collie. Nope — he’s a ‘Cocki’!”
“Cletus has all the Corgi characteristics: he herds the wood cart (and me), he stalks every crumb of food he can find, he sheds at least a half a Corgi a day, and he lays on his back with his feet curled up. He doesn’t have Corgi Ears unless he’s laying on his back but I love him anyway.”
Cletus shares the house with Bubba the Alaskan Malamute, Roxy the Norwegian Elkhound, Josie the Mini Pin, and twin Mini Doxies Sparky and Ray-Ray.
“Cletus may be sweet LOOKING but he is a stubborn boy too!”
“I adore him …. “

Beautiful dog,…almost looks like he's got some border collie in him.

Wow! Thanks for posting pics of Cletus. I think my dog, Misty, may be a Corgi/Cocker mix as well. We got her from a shelter and they really didn't know. She's got the same body type for sure, and her tail is more curly (like a Cocker's tail if it were long). She's a reddish brown with a black muzzle and white on her chest and paws. Sleeps most of the day (on her back with her feet up half of the time), is playful, loves people, and is fast running (when she gets a chance). We love her!

This is EXACTLY like my dog. Looks exactly the same, but the bottom part of his feet is a light brownish color. Other than, exact. He herds me and my family, he sleeps on his back with his paws up, and is always looking for crumbs. When we do give him people food (seldom do we do that) he will pick it up and keep it in his mouth, not eat it. Unless you get close and act like you are doing to take it. He usually does that with pizza and bread.

This is almost certainly a Borgi — a border collie / corgi mix. We have one that we got from a Corgi breeder– who also owned a border collie, and the puppies were an "oops". They are identical to this dog in size, shape, and coloring. Lovely dogs– so fun and friendly…..definitely herding tendencies!
