Meet six year-old Rogue of New Jersey. Her favorite pastimes are eating, sleeping, eating, herding her three cats, eating, NASCAR, football and eating.
Did I mention eating?
The “feed me” face.
Mom Keira says the kitchen is Rogue’s favorite room. “She’s a vacuum (as many Corgis seem to be), and a devious vacuum at that.”
Dog nabbed it!
“Corgis may have short legs, and Rogue can only get her nose on the edge of counter, but she has discovered that her long Corgi tongue gives her extra length to grab food a little further away from the edge.”
Even better is when a human sits on the sofa holding food — all it takes it a quick pop up on those legs to grab it! She managed to grab a slice of meatball pizza from an unsuspecting person this way and had it down the hatch before the human could even get off the sofa because, of course, Corgis are agile and fast!
In pupper days.
“Her official name is Putnam Lasting Lullaby, but Rogue fits her personality much better.”
“If Rogue doesn’t look very fluffy in some of the pictures, it’s because she makes routine visits to the groomer so her fur doesn’t become so matted. I might be biased, but I think she has a really cute, fuzzy butt after she’s been groomed!”
(Cue the chorus of dittos! Loving the Corgi pants!)
Demonstrating some major league Corgi Power at a local animal shelter’s charity dog wash.
“She tends to accessorize with a bandana, but has found various things strapped to her head over the years, particularly around holidays …
“Did somebody say CAKE?”
… and birthdays.”
Rogue started her own blog not too long ago, which right now is really an outlet for her owner to practice some creative writing and vent about the quirks of life with a Corgi:

YEP… She's a corgi alright! Stomach first… cute fuzzy butt… She reminds Grammy a little of our Mercy! She'd fit right in here in Corgi Country! We will have to run right over and introduce ourselves to her! Thanks again, Laurie, for giving us this opportunity to meet more corgis! The Country Corgi Crew
