Update, Friday 6/25 at 2 PM Eastern Time:
I just spoke with somebody at the Butts County Shelter and was told that if this Corgi doesn’t get adopted today, the local Fayette County Humane Society is going to come and get her. Fayette’s web site says they don’t have an actual shelter, and all of the animals they rescue live in temporary foster homes until they are adopted.
Sounds like this gal’s got a good, fighting chance! Fayette’s web site: http://fayettehumane.org/about_us.htm
As seen on petfinder.com:
There aren’t a lot of details in the listing; you have to call Butts County Animal Control to find out more.
They are open M-F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
