Dogs, by Dutch artist Rien Poortvliet is one of my all-time favorite books. So many astonishingly beautiful portraits of different breeds!
This page just happens to be my favorite.
His work is gorgeous, full of heart and amazing technique. Never much cared for his Gnomes work, but Poortvliet has a way with painting animals, children and pastoral scenes that’s not to be missed.
