Sabrina H. and her husband Matt already had a full house of cats when they decided it was time to add a dog to their menagerie.
“Matt had fallen in love with Corgis years ago after seeing a neighborhood Corgi hop up and down like a pogo stick, so it was only natural for us to start researching Corgi breeders.”
“After about a month of searching, we found a local breeder who had a three year-old female Corgi who’d been returned to him by her former owners. They no longer wished to show her.”
“Little Luna was wary of us at first, but soon warmed up when we generously gifted her with treats. The cats, however, were another story.”
“At first she was scared of her three feline brothers, then intrigued, and finally she became obsessed, insisting on herding them around our condo! Vladimir is her favorite — she thinks of him as a toy, bopping and pushing him around. Karl loves her the most and can’t resist nudging and rubbing up against her when she is near. Fidel, our oldest cat, loves to cuddle with her on Mommy’s lap, but puts her in her place because he’s the oldest of the pack.”
(Ed.. note: Furry Pants Cam!)
“When not herding her kitties, Luna likes to eat. No, I stand corrected, she LOVES to eat!”
“We have tried to get her interested in toys, but she is very treat-driven. I used this drive in agility classes and she really started to excel. We lasted only a year before the cold and dreary Pacific Northwest winters got to us and we decided we’d rather spend those blustery evenings snuggling with Fidel.”
(OK, how sweet are these two?)
“Nowadays, Luna loves to follow her Mommy everywhere and help her prepare dinner.”
“She loves her Daddy too and whines for him when he leaves the room, but even he has to admit that Luna’s a Momma’s girl.”
“She loves having her belly rubbed and enjoys longs walks along the beach or a hike in the woods.”
Curious Corgi!
Life is GOOD!
“There’s nothing like coming home after a long day at work to see those big ears, stubby legs and the happy smile of a Corgi.”
“Luna has been a wonderful addition to our menagerie and we couldn’t imagine life without her.”
