Eight year-old Roxie persuaded Mom Patti T. to let her tell her own Corgi story.
Take it away Roxie!
“I came into my Mom’s life after she lost her last two Corgis within two months of each other.
She knew a Corgi puppy would be the medicine to help ease her pain and heal her heart, so into her life I came.
We fell in love with each other immediately.
Look out kitties!
I was like the energizer Corgi — non-stop energy and intensity. Everyone said I’d calm down at about two years old, but she’s still waiting.
I discovered television at a young age.
It’s up to me to keep the animals on that screen from entering my home! I jump up at them, bark and growl to make sure they know I’m there. It works.
I like anything on Animal Planet and love America’s Funniest Videos and will pay attention for the whole hour.
That’s right all you animals! Stay in your box!
My favorite things are long walks, peanut butter, stuffed toys, irritating my neighbor dog through the fence, Grandpa and riding in the car, though Mom says I’m a maniac in there. Imagine that.
Mom helped me set up Corgi Tales about a year ago. We have lots of fun interacting with the on-line Corgi community.
I have such a good life and I’m so happy. My Mom is happy too. We’re there for each other.
She truly understands the “magic of the Corgi.” After all, she lives with ME! Her niece just got a new Corgi puppy in May; now she and her hubby are believers in the Corgi magic too.
All in a day’s work!”

Keep on keepin’ it Corgi in the Pacific Northwest!
p.s. Tip of the nose once again to Nancy Pilsch for her friend indeed to a friend in need assistance … she crafted this post, and I couldn’t have done a better job of it myself.

My beau loves Corgis! And I wanna me one too but they're a rare breed here in the Philippines.
I'm sorry about your mommy's lost. I lost a number of doggies too. It hurt a whole lot.
Hugs and Cheese,
Haopee

Yeah for another Pacific Northwest Corgi! Roxie, you are adorable and I loved seeing how your colors changed as you got older. You sound like a keeper to me. Thank you, Nancy for doing another wonderful job.
