Hi again, friends! Your fearless, fur-less four-legged editor here. (That other editor is four legged too, but she has fur and hogs the love seat).
Buttercup — NOT my co-edtor. (I wish!)
So here’s the skinny.
You already know that the blog is rolling out a new look soon (newsy news for those in the know). It will be same Daily Corgi (nothing is going away), but with a major facelift and funky new features. I promise fun and games and lots of Corgis and … and … and … what else?
What else do YOU want to see on The Daily Corgi?
After all, the blog is at least as much about you as it is about me. OK, if I’m being really honest? It’s mostly about you. There’s barely room enough for my efficiency unit sized ego here. I got the Corgis, I got the Corgi People, I got the rescue greatness, I got the Corgis in costumes, I got the fundraising … you get the picture.
Now, what else would YOU like to see in the picture? This blog is a moving snapshot of Corgi Nation. I think I do a pretty good job most days, but as any good Corgi knows, pretty good isn’t good enough. There is always more.
More fetching.
More frapping.
More barking.
You get the idea.
I do think I can blog, but I can’t do the best possible bang-up without you. Drop me a line and let me know what should be here but isn’t! Talk to me in the comments or drop a line: thedailycorgi@gmail.com.
Thanks — now back to napping (or frapping)!
xoxo

How about a regular feature about recommendations for products – toys, harnesses, chewables, etc. that are proven to be Corgi-proof or popular with Corgis? I'm always looking for something new that will withstand Corgi abuse or amuse Dill or fit his l-o-n-g body. Just a thought.

Chay — good one! Just the kind of specific feedback I'm looking for.
That one's definitely going on the list!

Laurie: Just wanted to announce that I own the cover dogs of the 2012 Welsh Corgi calendar, from Brown Trout! Yea! http://www.browntrout.com/calendars/product.asp?MGID=1284&IID=12812
Tasha and Tucker, of Indiana! Woot! Woot! Tucker is a very successful 4H agility dog and Tashi is a very successful farm dog who will go to 4H if asked. Tashi excels at chewing through plastic netting on gates and Tucker knows the word "table" from agility also applies to the dining room. 🙂

Netherfield Mom — wow, that's an honor!! You'll have to send a photo of the cover when it comes out!

Hey Dog-a-Holic Laurie,
How are you? I'm just here for my daily overdose of Corgi medicine.
I can't wait to see the new look of your blog. My dog's a street doggy but I've been dying to find have a Corgi— in my dreams, I guess.
Good luck. You might to want to add a forum. But that's a full time job.

Hey Laurie,
First of all, I think I speak on behalf of all the other "Corgiaholics" out there when I say you do an AMAZING job with The Daily Corgi. I love tuning into the blog everyday to see all the crazy Corgi personalities!
Second of all, I really like Chay's idea. I thought maybe it would be a fun idea for the dog of the day to make a recommendation on his or her's favorite toy or dog product. For example, my dog, Dottie of Wisconsin, was featured a few months back, and her favorite toy is her red Jolly Ball.
Anyway, just an idea! Keep up the great work!!
