prepared for the cuteness or huge personality she had from the
get go” writes Amber.
“She’s always been such a smiley Corgi. Every picture I take of her
she has a huge Corgi grin. Our girl LOVES the camera. I think she actually
understands what it means to pose.”
“Rigby enjoys dressing up — I swear it’s true! She gets very excited when
she sees a new shirt or sweater, nudging me me until I put it on her.”
“For the longest time, her favorite activity was sneaking dryer
sheets and ripping them up, but when she was introduced to squeaky tennis balls, they soon took over as
her number one.”
“Rigby’s eagerness to learn is limitless. We name every toy she gets and
after hearing the name once she knows it. This dog has a box full of
toys and can pick out any one you ask for. She loves the sand but is scared of oceans and pools. She will hang
out on the top step of a pool forever, but don’t try to make her swim!”
“She learned the word “kisses” very early on because she adores giving
kisses. When you meet her, Rigby will kiss you, whether you want it or not.”
“She is the friendliest dog and wants to play with anyone and any
animal. Unfortunately our ten year-old resident kitty doesn’t share her enthusiasm, so after two years we decided to adopt a Corgi sister for
Rigby. Coincidentally, her birth mom had just had a litter, so we made
the trek to Oklahoma again in October to pick up Ethel.”
“I was curious to see another Corgi personality, and boy did Ethel
deliver! She is the complete opposite of Rigby.”
“Scrappy and determined,
Ethel has been Rigby’s shadow for the past month. They roll around and
play all day long, fighting over toys, treats, and attention.”
“Ethel
wants anything that Rigby has, and Rigby is quickly learning how to
share after being the only pup for so long!”
“I can’t wait to see how
their friendship will grow when Ethel is no longer the “annoying kid
sister” nipping at Rigby’s heels.”
“Owning a Corgi was the best decision
we could have made. Rigby and Ethel have stolen our hearts!”
