Roxy’s story begins almost seven years ago in the Summer of 2006.
“We had just lost our first Corgi to old age in April, and
Mia, our tri Corgi, was lonely as the only Corgi in the
house” recalls Rebecca E. “I was on a road trip to see the Dave Matthews band when I stopped in Kentucky to see Roxy. She was the only one in her litter and it was love at first sight.”
“Roxy was a three pound terror when she first came into our lives and quickly attempted a total takeover.”
“She loved to play with Mia and dress up in her favorite t-shirt. That’s how she got her registered name “Sheeza Lil’ Rox Star”.
“Roxy has been going on vacation with the family to Hatteras since she was six months old. She isn’t entirely thrilled with the beach but as long as the family is around she is happy. She loves barking at the ghost crabs and trying to herd the seagulls.”
“She earned her Canine Good Citizen in 2008 but structured obedience really isn’t her thing. Her thing is more guarding the house from anything coming or going. She’ll bark and warn of danger, whether or not there’s actual danger.”
(Well, a girl can never be too careful).
“Roxy’s favorite things are lying on the couch, getting loved on, and eating anywhere at anytime. She also enjoys going to visit Grandma across the yard, car rides, and vacations. She is all about the journey, not the destination. If you asked her she would also tell you that she doesn’t like her paws being held, she dislikes her nephew Teach (a smooth Collie who loves her!), blowing curtains, eggs being cracked, and people dancing. Her favorite toys are her bones or anything that Teach has. Roxy is now an only dog and she seems to prefer that and will tolerate Teach when he comes to visit. As long as he doesn’t steal her bones or play tag with her.”
“She is definitely an individual — and we wouldn’t have her any other way!”

Cutest little 3 pounds that I have ever seen. I like how your family figured out what you like and do not like. That shows respect. Keep enjoying your life, Roxy.

Our Roxi is the same way. She took over the house at an early age. She runs the daily routine for us . What fun she is..
