Today we revisit the blog as it was back in August of 2009, a mere three months old and full of big dreams on stumpy legs.
Dog of the Day Momo has since grown up, and so has The Daily Corgi. (Sort of). I still make more puns than I ought to and write about nothing but Welsh Corgis. Just haven’t got around to other things yet. (Pssssst … never will. That’s a promise!)

Momo is a major rascal who happens to be a 16 month-old Bay Area red Pembroke Welsh Corgi. His middle name is mischief, and Momo gets away with it because a) he is smarter than you and b) he’s in full possession of his massive Corgi charms.
Momo gives everybody a run for their money, including – and especially – his dog buddies. Here he is showing Fluffer Pem Blue the whites of his eyes …
… and Doxie buddy Obi the way to command the waves. (Notice who splashes in first).

Aside from all that romping and racing, Momo digs chewing — anything he can get his choppers on: perfecting the part of the canine vacuum cleaner (look Mom, dropped food disappears like THAT!), and showing off his tricks for treats.
