Toby and Tucker … The Frap Goes On!

Today the Daily Corgi welcomes back the one, the only, Toby the Hero! To his vast legion of fans, thank you for your patience. Some folks would be madder than a wet hen with a wait like that, but you’re a patient bunch. Just a polite howdy-do and a “How’s Toby?” message or two every now and then, since February.

Without further adieu, I give you — in his own bark-tation — TOBY!

Friends! Countrymen! Lend me your ears! (Oh wait, I’m good in the ear department. Nevermind).

After a month of Sundays, it’s good to be back!

I’ve got a bad memory or two from last year’s tussle with the neighbor dogs, but lord love a duck, I’m all patched up and put back together. Better than ever, no small thanks to your generosity!

When I’m really happy, this is how I roll. Literally. Nowadays, I am one happy fella. Up to all my old tricks: running, playing, jumping and tugging, which ranks right up there with Ritz crackers and Sunday Night football.

Since my last post, the family pulled up stakes and moved from Texas to Wisconsin, where I wasted no time locating the best dog park, don’tcha know!

Rolling in clover. Over and over. Like a duck on a junebug.

I can still keep up with Tucker, surf or turf. After a day like this, we come home tired and smelly. If that ain’t a dog’s idea of perfection, I don’t know what is. Not one pickle short of a full jar!

Mom, on the other hand, she’s not so crazy about that. But we love her anyway, me and Tucker. He’s doing just fine, by the way. I look after him, big brother style.
