Patrick is a three year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi from Ankeny, Iowa.
Patrick enjoys spending a lot of time sitting outdoors, but he isn’t a fan of the rain. The yellow raincoat does the trick! (Editor’s note: Corgi in a raincoat. I repeat, Corgi in a raincoat!)
He is very protective of his people — including his “herd” of three eight year-old triplets — and doesn’t like anything coming into his yard, including leaves. Although he is a sweet and playful boy, he is always louder than anything he barks at: cars, the wind, the ice maker, loud thumps, strangers, Luna the stray cat on the block, and of course the UPS guy and mailman.
Patrick has many outfits and loves to put clothes on just to walk around the house. His favorite toy is Raffey, a squeaky giraffe, but chew toys rate pretty high too. He makes sure to line up all the toys at night before bed. Patrick’s talents include sitting, staying, giving paw, and he can tell the difference between right and left. He can also stand up, pound it, and lay down on command.
His favorite time of day is lunch, when he is happy to down a can of dog food and half a can of veggies. On a one-treat-a-day regimen he’s dropped his excess weight, but he still begs for food from the triplets. Naturally.
Patrick is a well-rounded dog with a classic Corgi smile.
Biskies to Patrick (but not too many!)
