UPDATE, Thursday May 6th:
Lori reports that Pumpkin’s blood count is stabilized but she’s waiting for his meds to kick in. “He’s perkier today than he was a couple of days ago” she reports, but there’s still a way for him to go. At some point, Pumpkin may need to be hospitalized again, and there is the cost of medications to stabilize him.

A generous “bottom of the 9th” contribution from one of The Daily Corgi’s own has helped Lori and Pumpkin surpass their giving goal of $2,500!
Pumpkin’s extensive care (starting with surgery on a cranial cruciate ligament) had cost his Mom Lori H. thousands in vet bills. Although it was a heartbreaking prospect, she was ready to place Pumpkin with a family who could afford his ongoing care.
Against the vet’s advice, a few days ago Lori had to take her Corgi home from the hospital. Now, because of YOUR donations, Pumpkin can continue receiving care for his Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia AND stay with his Mom where he belongs!
