Meet Stout! He’s an eight month-old Cardigan rascal, as mischievous as he is cute. (Dangerously so).
Stout was born a singlet on November 17, 2011 in rural central Kentucky. Two months later, he moved to the big city of Lexington to live with his uncle Porter (he’s the lighter brindle Cardi — a Daily Corgi alum) and new parents Merinda and John.
Stout has also shown himself to be very smart. The first week in his new home he managed to find a way out of his Xpen.

Recently, he found a way to get onto the bed by himself. (Uh-oh).
Kitties beware!
Stout likes to pretend that he is a T-Rex. Porter doesn’t appreciate this.
In fact, he is utterly unimpressed.
Still, Porter enjoy spending his days getting into trouble, “playing” with Porter and the two resident kitties, and destroying everything in his path. No one is surprised when the chair breaks and they end up on the floor because Stout chewed through the leg. Or when they find the insides of some poor unsuspecting stuffed armadillo all over the house.
Stout believes that anything Porter can do, he can do better!
He’s already tried herding both ducks and sheep, just like Porter.

Stout's Daddy is also A Daily Corgi Alum. Chase was featured more than three years ago — not long after the beginning of the blog. Stout is happy and bright. I'm proud he's my grandpuppy.
