Well, if we are going to get to know each other then I should introduce myself. My given name is Matilda Peacock. Tilly, to my friends.
So what would you like to know about me? Hobbies, perhaps? I enjoy slow walks about the neighborhood. I love window shopping and hanging out at the cafes! On the home front, I appreciate snuggling on the couch and sharing little treats with my special someone. I typically like other dogs but I can be a bit possessive and snippy.
Children? Oh, no, I haven’t got any and at this point in my life. I don’t think I would enjoy the company of the very young and would be very firm about my dislike of their bouncy behavior and sticky, grabby fingers.
My age? Excuse me? Well! If you must know, I am 7. What’s that? You looked at my AKC registration and it says that I am 13? I have no comment. You just watch me frisk about and then tell me I look 13!
You might as well ask my weight then! I keep myself at a trim 25 pounds because my poor hips are not what they once were. Ahhh, the ravages of a misspent youth. My doctors tell me that I have to take it easy because I show signs of hip dysplasia. Entre nous darling, with a little fish-oil and some Cosequin I feel right as rain.
If you are interested in learning more about me, contact Gretchen (ganders.mail@gmail.com) and she would be happy to pass on your questions for my review. I must tell you that I am a proper mid-western lady, born and boarded in the Kansas City area – so none of that kinky stuff.
Tootle-do and kisses to you! Mwah! Mwah!

Are Canadian allowed to adopt Tilly?

That's one of the best names I've ever heard (Matilda Peacock) and certainly the best write-up for an adoptable dog I've ever read! I hope you find your perfect forever home, Tilly.
