This elegant lady of a certain age made her first Daily Corgi appearance in March, as an adoptable with Corgi Connection of Kansas. She’s since chosen her new home with a good family in Omaha, Nebraska.
Although Dallas H. was sad to see her foster go (“such a doll!”), it was obvious Duchess longed to be part of a family again, getting the
attention she deserved.
She is the apple of her new Dad’s eye. Rumor has it he talks more about her more than his two (human) sons.
“They were so excited to be adopting their very own little
girl” writes Dallas. “It takes a special family to want to adopt a heartworm positive older
gal. They talked with their vet before making a final decision. Duchess will get her heartworm preventitive every month like clockwork!”
Following a few “get to know you” hisses from Holly the cat and Duchess following Holly around the house checking her out, these two are getting along just fine. Duchess enjoys sole ownership of her chewies and squeaky toys.

I want to Thank everyone involved that made this happen! Duchess is a little Diva that has Dad wrapped around her finger and knows it haha! Since both me and my brother (the human sons) are both out of the house I felt Mom and Dad needed a new addition and I think Duchess is just what the Doctor ordered, Again thankyou everyone and She will be spoiled in her golden years that I gaurantee!
Looks like Dutchess is a Sweetheart and now has a great home ! Such happy news !
